Le chauffeur doit réaliser des tâches de chauffeur professionnel et doit livrer les produits aux restaurants McDonald en temps opportun, avec professionnalisme et en offrant un excellent service à la clientèle.
Les principales responsabilités du poste, sans s’y limiter :
- Être détenteur d’un permis classe 1 et être capable de conduire un tracteur-remorque de manière sécuritaire et efficace
- Inspecter son équipement afin de s’assurer qu’il est en bon état, que son réservoir est plein et qu’il est prêt à partir
- S’assurer que chaque véhicule est sécurisé et que l’unité de réfrigération est en fonction lorsque le chargement est complété
- Être responsable de l’équipement et des produits livrés
- Remplir les documents internes et de conformité requis / Inspecter l’équipement quotidiennement
- Travailler de façon sécuritaire et respecter les règlements en matière de santé et sécurité mis en place par l’entreprise
- Signaler toute blessure et tout incident en temps opportun
- S’assurer que les règles et les lois applicables, ainsi que les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise, sont respectées
- Respecter les règlementations gouvernementales comme le Règlement sur la salubrité des aliments au Canada (RSAC) et les programmes HACCP, la Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), IFS (International Featured Standard) et les Bonnes pratiques des chauffeurs (BPC) et toutes règles et règlementations pour le transport.

Compétences et expérience requises :
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou expérience équivalente
- Trois à cinq ans d’expérience de conduite de classe 1
- Expérience en conduite de tracteur-remorque de 48’-53’
- Capacité de soulever des boîtes lourdes (jusqu’à 50 livres)
- Excellente éthique de travail et excellente gestion de temps
- Compétences interpersonnelles
- Service à la clientèle exemplaire et excellentes aptitudes en communication
